We issue invoices to our customers so that payments can be made via EFT. Invoices are issued on the day of the service or within the next few days. Our payment terms are 7 days. Please contact us if you have any questions and we will be happy to help.

Zero Tolerance
Tweed Border Lawns enforces a strict zero tolerance policy for any behaviour that is abusive, threatening, disrespectful, or unsafe towards our team. This includes, but is not limited to:
Verbal abuse, harassment, or intimidation
Physical aggression or unsafe conduct
Discriminatory or inappropriate remarks or actions
Procedure if Staff are Abused or Disrespected
If any staff member experiences abuse or disrespect, the following actions will occur:
Staff will remove themselves from the situation if it is safe to do so.
The incident will be reported to management immediately.
Management may:
Pause or cease work on the property until the situation is resolved
Issue a written warning to the client or public member
Terminate services if behaviour continues or is severe
Report the incident to authorities if necessary
Support will be provided to the affected staff member, including follow-up checks and assistance as required.
By engaging Tweed Border Lawns, you agree to comply with these expectations. Non-compliance may result in suspension or termination of services.

A strict Zero Tolerance policy applies to unsafe, abusive, or non-compliant behaviour by anyone, including towards our staff. This document outlines responsibilities for workplace safety, respectful conduct, and legal compliance.
2. Scope
Applies to all workers and covers all services, including lawn mowing, ride-on mowing, gardening, and pressure cleaning. Compliance with this policy, including Zero Tolerance, is required for ongoing engagement.
3. Safe Workspaces
Tweed Border Lawns is committed to maintaining safe and secure work environments for our staff, clients, pets, and the public.
Commitment:
Identify and minimise risks before each job
Maintain equipment in safe working order
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Ensure safe access to and from all worksites
Protect clients, pets, and the public from potential hazards
Worker Responsibilities:
Follow safe work procedures and instructions
Conduct basic site risk assessments before starting work
Report hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly
Use equipment only as trained and authorised
Stop work immediately if conditions are unsafe
4. Respectful Work Environment
Respect is required from all workers, clients, and public members.

Zero Tolerance: Unacceptable behaviour includes harassment, bullying, threats, physical violence, sexual harassment, property damage, intoxication, or breaches of confidentiality. Abuse toward staff triggers the following:
Staff remove themselves from the situation if safe
Report incident to management
Management may cease work, issue warnings, terminate services, or report to authorities
Support and follow-up provided to staff
Breaches may result in disciplinary action for employees and/or termination of client engagement.
5. Pet Safety & Client Consideration
Be mindful of pets and follow client instructions
Secure gates
Avoid operating machinery near unsecured animals
Pause work if unsafe
6. Compliance & Legal Obligations
We comply with relevant environmental regulations, local councils, and NDIS requirements. Workers must hold required licenses, follow procedures, and cooperate with audits and inspections.
7. Reporting & Breaches
Report safety concerns, incidents, or breaches promptly
Breaches may lead to corrective action, retraining, suspension, or termination
Serious breaches may be reported to authorities
